Do not use it for more than 14 days. If you have frequent heartburn, you should not use this medication.
It is not recommended to take this medication for longer than 14 days unless directed by a doctor. Do not take it with other medications containing esomeprazole to treat any other conditions.
The effects of this medication may last up to 4 to 6 hours after you eat.
If you miss a dose of Nexium 24HR, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Do not take Nexium 24HR more than once every 24 hours. Do not take it more often than directed.
Keep using this medication as directed by your doctor. Do not stop using this medication without checking with your doctor.
Nexium 24HR may cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, and nausea. Talk to your doctor if you have diarrhea or are vomiting. If you experience nausea, intestinal obstruction, or abdominal pain, stop using this medication and contact your doctor right away.
It may take 1 to 4 weeks before you feel the full effects of Nexium 24HR. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible.
Talk to your doctor before using Nexium 24HR if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It may harm an unborn baby. Talk to your doctor if you are breast-feeding.
Avoid contact with your eyes. Nexium 24HR may cause blurred vision. Avoid contact with eyes. If you have an eye problem, take this medication with food and medicine. If your doctor has prescribed this medication, do not use it for a long time.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of kidney problems, high or low blood pressure, heart disease, liver problems, or an infection.
This medication may decrease the amount of urine produced. Use a full glass of water or an extra hour before or after taking this medicine to reduce the amount of time it takes for urine to build up in the bladder. You may need to use this medication for longer than directed. You may not get the full effects. If you miss a dose of Nexium 24HR, go back to your regular schedule. Do not use 2 doses at once.
If you have an eye problem, take this medication with food. If your doctor has prescribed it, do not use it for a long time. Do not use it for longer than directed. If you need to use Nexium 24HR, speak to your doctor about other treatment options.
Nexium 24HR may cause nausea, diarrhea, or abdominal pain. Drink plenty of fluids while you are using this medication to help reduce the risk of side effects.
